Your saved profiles stay in your browser.

By default, Skip Retyping fills only when you run Fill Page. If you enable auto-fill for a site, it can fill detected forms there with your default profile. Saved profile values are not sent to a Skip Retyping server.

Short version

  • No profile accountCreate profiles and fill pages without making an account for profile storage.
  • No ad businessSaved profile values are not sold or shared for advertising.
  • Filling shares values with the pageThe website can read or autosave filled fields and files before you press Submit. Undo cannot retract information it already received. Exports and support messages include what you choose; checkout sends license and payment details, not profile values.

What Skip Retyping saves

Skip Retyping saves only what you add.

Profiles

Names, contact details, work links, and custom fields.

Skip Retyping adds these details to a page when you run a fill action, or when optional auto-fill runs on a site you enabled. The destination website can then read or transmit those values under its own privacy practices.

Rules

Small matching rules for unusual form labels.

Rules help Skip Retyping recognize fields that a site labels in its own way.

Uploads

Files you attach to a profile, like a resume or CSV.

Attach a file only when you want Skip Retyping to match it to an upload field. Remove it anytime.

Exports, support, and billing

Exports, support, and Pro checkout.

When you export

Export creates unencrypted files containing your profiles and attached files. Large backups are split into parts; keep every part. Temporary backup files are prepared locally inside the extension and normally removed when you close the backup dialog. If preparation is interrupted, temporary copies older than 24 hours are removed the next time you open Skip Retyping. Delete downloaded copies separately when you no longer need them.

When you contact support

The contact form sends only the message you submit. If you uninstall Skip Retyping, the same page may open for an optional anonymous note.

When you buy Pro

ExtensionPay checks the Pro license, and Stripe handles payment. Skip Retyping does not collect card numbers or send saved profile values during checkout. On Firefox, Skip Retyping asks before connecting your billing email, sign-in, and payment-status data.

This website can ask whether Skip Retyping is installed and read its version so an install button can become Open Skip Retyping. The check cannot read profiles, rules, uploads, or form values.

Site access

Fill the page you choose.

The optional in-page button and auto-fill use access only on sites you grant. You can disable either feature in Settings.

Sign-ins and payments

Use your usual sign-in and payment tools.

Use Skip Retyping for repeated profile fields around a form. Keep passwords, payment cards, CVCs, one-time codes, wallets, and protected identity details with your browser, password manager, wallet, or the site itself.

Salary, work-authorization, demographic, and health answers stay blank during Fill Page. Fill one only when you choose that field.

Your controls

View, edit, export, or delete what you save.

View

Open Skip Retyping to see the profiles, custom fields, rules, and upload matches the extension uses.

Edit

Change saved values inside Skip Retyping whenever a detail, resume, company field, or rule needs an update.

Delete

Deleting a profile keeps a local recovery copy. Open More tools > Recovery to restore or permanently discard it. Erase profile data removes saved profiles, attachments, drafts and recovery copies from this browser. It keeps your payment account and settings.

Export

Export is available on every plan. Free users can recover selected profiles within the three-profile limit. Pro supports a library of up to 500 profiles.

Support records

If you email support, ask for the conversation to be deleted when the issue is finished.

Privacy questions

Use the privacy topic on the contact page for privacy, support-email deletion, or billing questions.

Legal notes

Who handles what.

  • Controller: Stealthy Apps, an independent software publisher based in Maine, United States. Use the privacy contact form to reach the controller.
  • The use of information received from Google APIs by Skip Retyping adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • Profile values are used in the extension to edit profiles, create an export you request, and fill a page you choose. Stealthy Apps does not receive those values during normal filling.
  • ExtensionPay receives billing-account and license-status details when you use Pro billing. Stripe receives payment details. FormSubmit and email providers carry a support message only when you send one.
  • Website hosting and security systems may process ordinary request details such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and time to deliver and protect the site. Skip Retyping does not add advertising or behavioral-analytics trackers.
  • Editor drafts and deleted-profile recovery copies are kept locally until you save, discard or erase them. Draft saving can fail if storage is full; a file still loading or an edit not yet saved to storage cannot be recovered after a crash. Erasing extension data does not erase downloaded backups or information already read by a destination website. Support records stay only as long as needed to answer the request, prevent abuse, or meet legal duties. Billing providers keep transaction records under their policies and applicable tax and accounting rules.
  • Where privacy law applies, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive the personal information Stealthy Apps controls, and you may object to or withdraw consent-based processing. UK users may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
  • Support and billing information may be processed in the United States or other countries used by the named providers. Skip Retyping is not directed at children under 13 in the United States or under 16 where GDPR consent rules apply.
